Children's Riding Lessons

For children and adults we do half hour lessons for groups of no more that 6 riders.

Beginners are in the indoor school, teaching them all the basics starting with how to get on and hold the reins.

When they are able to do rising trot securely they can move onto the Intermediate 45 minute lesson, which is in the outdoor school, where they learn to canter and start to jump.

Eventually moving onto the experienced hour lesson in the outdoor school, jumping paddock or hacking.

We also do novice hacks which consist of half an hour lesson followed by half an hour out round our own land all off road.

Adult Riding Lessons (over 18 years)

Adult lessons are structured the same as the childrens lessons with half an hour to start, building up to 45 minutes once you can do rising trot, and an hour for experienced riders able to canter.

Private Lessons

Private lessons are available during off peak times 10 - 3.45 Tuesday and Wednesday, and 1.45 - 3.45 Thursday and Friday during term time.

Hacking

Hacking is available for people able to walk, trot and canter.

We also do an hours novice hack which consists of half an hour lesson followed by a half hour hack all off road on our own land.
